Anticipation builds at Claz’room College as the end of each semester approaches, and Evaluation Day draws near. This semester’s Evaluation Day, which took place on 18 April 2023, was no exception. 360 students came dressed to impress, eager to showcase the artwork they had worked on all semester.

Each student was allocated a designated time slot to present their coursework for every subject they took during the semester. The outcome of their Evaluation Day presentation plays a crucial role as it contributes to their total coursework marks for the semester. This propelled the students to step out of their comfort zones, determined to excel and earn the highest possible grades.

Evaluation Day serves a much higher purpose than just boosting grades. This event is designed to sharpen students’ presentation and communication skills, preparing them to confidently step into the real world of work. While nerve-wracking for some, the college has witnessed first-hand the progress of students’ soft skills, and it’s heartening to see them grow in this regard throughout the course period.

In the end, Claz’room College’s ultimate goal is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed beyond the classroom. By nurturing their soft skills, we hope to see a seamless transition into the workforce, where they can thrive and make their mark.
