Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Concept Art Lecturer to inspire and educate the next generation of concept artists. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, industry-relevant instruction that balances both theoretical understanding and hands-on practice in concept art, preparing students for careers in games, animation, and film industries.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in concept art, covering areas such as character design, environment design, prop design, and visual storytelling.
2. Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students to help them develop professional-level portfolios.
3. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques to ensure course content remains up-to-date and relevant.
4. Guide students through industry-standard workflows and creative problem-solving approaches.
5. Collaborate with the academic team to design, update, and improve the concept art curriculum.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a concept art role within the game, film, or animation industry.
2. A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in concept art, including but not limited to character, environment, and prop design.
3. Proven industry experience as a concept artist in the animation, gaming, or entertainment sectors.
4. Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring artists, with the ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Familiarity with industry-standard digital tools and software (such as Photoshop, Blender, or equivalent).

Responsibilities
1. Lead major college events for students and serve as the main point of contact for Student Affairs programme
2. Planning and hosting for Clazroom orientation programs
3. Provide assistance and support to the student clubs and organizations as required on all student related activities and events
4. Work in collaboration with staff, faculty and college partners to plan, improve and promote events that can enhance student experiences
5. Assist in student scholarships and financial programmes
6. Serves as a point of contact for all student affairs initiatives including providing counsel
7. Address and respond to student enquiries in a timely manner
8. Assisting and communicating all relevant announcements related to Student Affairs in campus
9. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned / needed in order to meet the requirements of the role and the goals of the college
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above in Early Childhood / Education or equivalent
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Energetic, outgoing, enjoys meeting and interacting with students.
4. Great in hosting or talking in front of young adults while exhibit extraversion with a cheerful personality.
5. Previous experience of student affairs work would be advantageous.
6. Video editing skills is a must, able to work effectively with other lecturers and marketing team for video or podcast production. Must have a strong willingness and ability to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies in video editing.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Be independent and able to multitask.
9. Team player and able to get along with existing team members.
10. Able to work under minimal supervision and performs well under pressure and have the ability to provide high efficacy results.
11. Fluency in English language, Mandarin fluency is an added advantage.
